President Prabowo Subianto revealed that concerns over the possibility of a Third World War are weighing heavily on global leaders. He said the issue surfaced during his participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos in January 2026.
Speaking at the 2026 National Coordination Meeting between the Central and Regional Governments at the Sentul International Convention Center (SICC) in Bogor on Monday (February 2, 2026), Prabowo noted that dozens of heads of state expressed similar anxieties.
He added that fears of a major global conflict have even diverted attention away from climate change, an issue that has traditionally dominated international discussions, as worries over a potential world war now take precedence among world leaders.
