Phintraco Sekuritas forecasts that the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) will move in a consolidation phase throughout this week. Technically, the index is expected to trade within a resistance level of 6,250, a pivot point of 6,200, and support at 6,100.
The brokerage also identifies six stocks that are considered to have profit-making potential, with ASII being one of the highlighted names.
According to Phintraco Sekuritas, Wall Street was closed on Friday (June 19, 2026) in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Meanwhile, most stock indices across Europe and Asia ended the session in negative territory on the same day. In its research report published on Monday (June 22, 2026), the firm stated that the weakness was driven by investor skepticism regarding the durability of the peace agreement between the United States and Iran.
The Vice President of the United States stated that any economic assistance provided to Iran would depend on the country’s compliance with the terms of the agreement. On the other hand, Iran’s President described the deal as conditional and approved the memorandum only after receiving assurances that Iran’s rights would be safeguarded.
The reopening of shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remains a key focus for market participants after the United States and Iran agreed to lift the blockade. However, Iran reportedly closed the Strait of Hormuz again on Friday (June 19, 2026), citing unmet conditions within the peace agreement with the United States.
Phintraco Sekuritas also noted that investors will closely monitor several U.S. economic indicators, including the PCE price index, durable goods orders, the University of Michigan consumer sentiment index, and regional Federal Reserve surveys. Core PCE inflation is projected to rise by 0.3% month-on-month, compared with a 0.2% increase in April.
Previously, the Federal Reserve raised its 2026 PCE inflation forecast to 3.6% and projected inflation at 2.3% for the following year. In addition, the outlook for core PCE inflation this year was revised upward to 3.3%.
Domestic Data
On the domestic front, Phintraco Sekuritas highlighted that the M2 Money Supply data is scheduled for release on Tuesday (June 23, 2026). Investors are also awaiting MSCI’s Annual Market Classification Review, which is set to be announced on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) and will determine Indonesia’s status within the Emerging Market category.
Meanwhile, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) plans to meet with MSCI to seek clarification regarding the results of the MSCI Global Market Accessibility Review, which assigned a negative assessment to the Information Flow criterion.
From a technical perspective, Phintraco Sekuritas expects the IHSG to remain in a consolidation range between 6,100 and 6,250 throughout the week.
The six stocks recommended by Phintraco Sekuritas due to their perceived profit potential are ASII, DSSA, ISAT, HMSP, INET, and DKFT.
