IHSG Closes Higher by 0.61% at 7,073.45, Foreign Investors Record Net Sell of Rp 189.06 Billion

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) ended higher on Tuesday (4/2/2025) after a decline at the beginning of the week.

 

According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the IHSG rose by 43.40 points or 0.61% to 7,073.45 at the close of trading. Throughout the session, the index remained in the green zone, reaching a low of 7,037 and a high of 7,125.

 

On Tuesday, the total trading volume reached 26.97 billion shares, with a total transaction value of Rp 10.35 trillion.

 

A total of 321 stocks gained, 257 stocks declined, and 221 stocks remained unchanged.


 

Foreign Investors Record Net Sell, Banking Stocks Under Pressure

Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp 189.06 billion across all markets.

Large-cap banking stocks were among the most sold by foreign investors during yesterday’s session.

  5. PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) – Rp 12.72 billion
  6. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) – Rp 12.1 billion
  7. PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) – Rp 11.37 billion
  8. PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) – Rp 10.85 billion
