US-Iran Ceasefire Shaken as Trump Issues Fresh Threat Following Retaliatory Strikes

The Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) is expected to extend its decline in Monday's (June 29, 2026) trading session. According to MNC Sekuritas' research team, the index's 1.72% decline to 5,896 at Friday's (June 26) close was accompanied by increasing selling pressure, with the benchmark falling back below its 20-day moving average (MA20). On a weekly basis, the IHSG has corrected by 4.55%, reaching the minimum downside target previously projected by MNC Sekuritas. The research team believes the index is currently still moving within wave (b) of wave [iv].
MNC Sekuritas estimates that the IHSG remains vulnerable to further weakness, with the next downside target located in the 5,723–5,784 range. Conversely, any short-term rebound is expected to test the resistance area between 5,912 and 5,937, according to the firm's research report released on Sunday (June 28, 2026).
Based on statistics from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the IHSG fell 4.55% over the past week, declining from 6,177.139 to 5,896.134 as of Friday's (June 26, 2026) close. The decline also pushed the benchmark back below the key psychological level of 6,000. At the same time, the IDX's total market capitalization contracted by 4.51%, decreasing from Rp10,788 trillion in the previous week to Rp10,302 trillion.
IDX Corporate Secretary Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad stated that the average daily trading frequency also declined during the week, falling 22.95% from 2.24 million transactions to 1.73 million transactions per day.
He also noted that the average daily trading volume on the IDX dropped by 26.01%, decreasing from 34.03 billion shares in the previous week to 25.18 billion shares during the current week, according to the exchange's official statement issued on Saturday (June 27, 2026).
Meanwhile, the average daily trading value declined by 29.13%, from Rp24.80 trillion to Rp17.58 trillion. Investors also recorded net selling of Rp537.25 billion during Friday's (June 26, 2026) trading session. Cumulatively, foreign investors have posted net sales totaling Rp71.681 trillion throughout 2026.
