Purbaya Distributes Trillions, Poor Citizens, Lecturers & Teachers Receive Aid

The Ministry of Finance, under the leadership of Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, has implemented a series of assistance programs aimed at supporting and safeguarding people’s purchasing power. These programs include the Family Hope Program (PKH) as well as staple food assistance cards.

 

According to a statement posted on the official Instagram account of the Directorate General of Economic and Fiscal Strategy (DJSEF), as of September 8, 2025, the PKH program had disbursed IDR 18.4 trillion to benefit 10 million recipient families.

 

This amount represents 63.9% of the allocated budget of IDR 28.7 trillion.

 

Meanwhile, for the Indonesia Smart Program/Indonesia Smart Card for College Students along with other scholarship schemes, the government has disbursed IDR 14.7 trillion to support 12.2 million students.

 

“This figure has reached 53.4% of the total budget allocation of IDR 27.7 trillion,” read the post from the @ditjensef account, quoted Friday (October 3, 2025).

 

For the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT), disbursements have reached IDR 34.4 trillion, or 67.3% of the IDR 51.2 trillion allocation, benefiting 18.3 million recipient families.

 

In the health sector, subsidies for National Health Insurance (JKN) have totaled IDR 34.7 trillion, which is 74.7% of the allocated IDR 46.5 trillion, covering 96.7 million participants.

 

As for allowances, the Professional Allowances for Teachers (TPG) and Professional Allowances for Non-Civil Servant Lecturers (TPD) have absorbed IDR 12.3 trillion, or 58% of the allocated IDR 21.2 trillion, distributed to 1 million teachers and lecturers.

 

Meanwhile, the housing program has so far realized IDR 18.8 trillion, equivalent to 36.1% of the IDR 52.1 trillion budget, resulting in the construction of 163.8 thousand housing units.
