The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, attended a High-Level Summit (KTT) held at the International Congress Centre in Sharm El-Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, on Monday, October 13, 2025.

This high-profile gathering brought together world leaders to witness the signing of a peace and ceasefire agreement for Gaza, marking a significant and historic step toward achieving lasting stability and peace in the Middle East.

The peace accord was signed by U.S. President Donald Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Other global leaders were also present, seated behind the four heads of state during the signing ceremony.

“This is a remarkable day for the world—a truly extraordinary moment for the Middle East,” said Donald Trump during his remarks at the signing ceremony, as quoted on Tuesday (October 14, 2025).
“We’re about to sign a document that outlines numerous rules, regulations, and other critical provisions. It is a very comprehensive document,” he added.

President Prabowo Subianto was seen personally attending and observing the signing process, seated next to French President Emmanuel Macron, attentively following the proceedings.

Prabowo’s presence at the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit underscored Indonesia’s strong commitment to promoting global peace, resolving conflicts, and advancing humanitarian values at the international level.

“This is the largest and most complex agreement ever made,” Trump continued.
“And this region—the Middle East—has always been seen as a place that could potentially trigger a major global conflict, even World War III. People have long said that World War III would begin in the Middle East.”

“But that will not happen. We do not want such a war to occur anywhere, and I can assure you, World War III will not happen,” Trump concluded.
