Microsoft, a technology company, initially prohibited its employees from using ChatGPT and other AI services but has now lifted the ban. The company encourages its employees to leverage ChatGPT and recommends Bing Chat Enterprise and ChatGPT Enterprise.
As the primary shareholder of OpenAI, Microsoft supports the development of ChatGPT, despite other technology companies restricting access to similar services.
Microsoft also plans to bring Co-pilot to Windows 10, expanding the user base and encouraging plugin development. The company is reviewing strategies to introduce Windows 11 features to Windows 10 and is considering extending support for Windows 10 beyond October 2025.
Microsoft Co-pilot, an AI service aimed at enhancing productivity, is set to launch on Windows 11 on September 26, 2023. Microsoft 365 Co-pilot will be available to enterprise customers starting November 1, 2023, alongside the launch of Microsoft 365 Chat.
