PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (Alfamart), along with its subsidiaries, reported strong performance throughout 2024, recording consolidated net revenue of IDR 118.23 trillion. This marks a 10.36% increase compared to the previous year’s figure of IDR 106.94 trillion.
Alfamart's Corporate Secretary, Tomin Wiian, stated that the rise in net revenue has led to a 9.97% growth in the group’s gross profit, reaching IDR 25.37 trillion. He explained that this increase was driven by higher sales volumes and an expansion in the number of stores.
By the end of 2024, the company successfully added 1,033 new Alfamart outlets, surpassing its original expansion target of 1,000 new stores. With this addition, the total number of Alfamart outlets reached 20,120 units.
Overall, the total number of retail outlets operated by the company and its subsidiaries amounted to 23,277, spread across various cities and strategic regions, including high-potential growth areas outside of Java.
However, due to rising operational expenses, the company and its subsidiaries recorded a 7.92% decline in net profit. As a result, Alfamart posted a net profit of IDR 3.15 trillion for 2024.
"Operating profit for 2024 decreased by 7.92%, primarily due to higher operational costs that outpaced the growth in gross profit," said Tomin during Alfamart's Public Expose and Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held at Alfa Tower, Tangerang, Thursday (May 22, 2025).
"As for the profit attributable to the parent entity for 2024, it was recorded at IDR 3.15 trillion, which represents a slight decline of around 7.5% compared to 2023," Tomin added.
Furthermore, Tomin announced that based on this net profit, Alfamart plans to distribute cash dividends to shareholders amounting to approximately 45% of total profit, or around IDR 1.4 trillion. The dividend per share will be IDR 34.11.
"Regarding dividends, as decided in the AGMS, the company will apply a payout ratio of approximately 45%. The dividend per share will be IDR 34.11, with the total dividend payout reaching IDR 1.4 trillion," he explained.
