Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp2.4 trillion in trading on Tuesday (April 28, 2026), with total purchases reaching Rp5.94 trillion and total sales amounting to Rp8.29 trillion.
Despite the continued dominance of net selling activity in the market, foreign investors still carried out selective buying in several stocks. A number of shares even posted significant net foreign buy figures during the session.
Shares of PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (RLCO) became the most accumulated by foreign investors, with a net buy value of Rp330.5 billion, executed through the negotiated market.
In addition, foreign investors were also seen entering commodity-related stocks, particularly in the mining and energy sectors, such as PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO).

PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) - Rp31.3 billion
PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) - Rp28.3 billion
PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) - Rp17.8 billion
PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) - Rp17.0 billion
PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA) - Rp15.4 billion
PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) - Rp14.4 billion
Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed lower by 34.13 points, or down 0.48%, at 7,072.39. Earlier in the session, the index had opened in positive territory and even reached a high of 7,151.51.
A total of 352 stocks advanced, 374 declined, and 233 remained unchanged. Trading value reached Rp17.48 trillion, involving 30.23 billion shares across 2.11 million transactions. Market capitalization also decreased to Rp12,594 trillion.
According to Refinitiv data, shares of Amman Mineral (AMMN) were the main drag on the index, contributing -8.36 points after falling 5.09% following an 8% gain in the previous session.
Additionally, shares of Dian Swastatika Sentosa (DSSA) continued their downward trend for six consecutive days, weighing on the IHSG by -7.05 points.
