The stock market is expected to show a brighter performance in today’s trading session after experiencing two consecutive days of decline.
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell for two straight sessions due to adjustments in Indonesia’s free float calculation by Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI), which prompted a wave of foreign investor outflows from the market.
The two-day slump earlier this week managed to erase all the gains that had been built up during the previous week. On Monday (Oct 27, 2025), the JCI even touched its lowest level at 7,959.17. However, during Tuesday’s (Oct 28, 2025) trading, the decline was not as severe as the previous day, leading many analysts to predict a rebound in today’s market.
When the JCI starts to rebound, several stocks typically experience sharp upward movements, making them particularly interesting to monitor during Wednesday’s (Oct 29, 2025) trading session.
A number of stocks that appeared in the Top Frequency list yesterday are worth watching. Stocks in this category tend to be heavily traded, indicating that both retail and institutional investors are actively involved. This heightened activity reflects strong market interest, giving these stocks a higher potential for a strong rebound, supported by technical indicators suggesting a pullback and trend continuation.
Below are the Top Frequency Stocks with strong rebound potential based on trading activity and technical momentum:
| Company | Ticker | Movement (10/28/2025) | Stock Price (10/28/2025) |
|---|---|---|---|
| PT Multi Makmur Lemindo Tbk | PIPA | 6.55% | 358 |
| PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk | MBMA | 4.10% | 635 |
| PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk | COCO | 24.72% | 444 |
| PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk | UNVR | −8.12% | 2,490 |
| PT Bumi Resources Tbk | BUMI | 6.82% | 141 |
| PT GTS Internasional Tbk | GTSI | 15.83% | 139 |
| PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk | BBRI | −0.26% | 3,850 |
| PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk | CDIA | −1.42% | 1,740 |
| PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk | EMTK | 10.28% | 1,180 |
| PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk | TLKM | 2.10% | 3,400 |
When a stock is included in the Top Frequency list, it means that the stock is actively traded by many investors, both retail and institutional. This indicates a strong market appetite for that particular stock, which could result in further price appreciation, although the extent of the gain ultimately depends on overall market behavior.
