Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto presented the results of a limited cabinet meeting led by President Prabowo Subianto, which discussed the current state of Indonesia’s national economy.
Airlangga reported that several key economic indicators remain stable and strong. Among them are the consumer confidence index, which stands at the range of 100 to 115, retail growth at 5.8%, and the manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) recorded at 50.4.
“During the meeting, it was conveyed that overall, the economy remains relatively positive when viewed from various indicators. Several consumption-related indicators, such as the consumer confidence index, are still above the level of 100 to 115. The retail sector is also performing well with a growth rate of 5.8%,” said Airlangga at the Presidential Palace Complex on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
