Foreign Investors Dump Bank Stocks! Net Sell Hits Rp2 Trillion-What's the Impact?

In Tuesday’s stock trading session on April 28, 2026, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in negative territory, declining by 34.13 points or 0.48% to 7,072.

 

In line with the bearish trend, foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp2.35 trillion across the entire market. Similarly, in the regular market, foreign investors posted a net sell of Rp1.24 trillion.

 

The largest net sell by foreign investors was seen in shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI), totaling Rp350.72 billion. Despite facing significant selling pressure, BMRI shares still managed to rise by 0.68% and closed at Rp4,430 per share.
