DIGIVESTASI - Starting his working visit in Central Java Province, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited Mungkid Market, Magelang Regency, on Monday (29/1/2024). President Jokowi looked as if he was about to verify basic notions.

Upon his arrival at Mungkid Market, President Jokowi was welcomed by local merchants and ordinary people. The President later continued to challenge the merchants and asked about the meaning of some basic costs such as rice, embalau, shallots.

"Yes, it's been two weeks since I've been in contact with the market, I need to control the market (Mungkid) Magelang," President Jokowi said in his statement after the control. Based on his observations, the understanding of basic purposes at Pasar Mungkid was observed to be stable.

Cayenne pepper, for example, is front-centered at Rp30 thousand per kilogram. The President said, the definition of a bushel of rice is multiplied because this era has not yet infiltrated the harvesting period. The Head of State also followed that the definition of rice will be affected when the stock is overflowing. "Yes, it is not yet the main harvest. Later, the production will overflow during the harvest season, the price will also drop," he said.

In addition to verifying understanding, President Jokowi also accepted several social contributions saying sap perca saudagar. Nunung, diryah esa a chicken merchant, took the risk of liking and being happy to receive President Jokowi's capital contribution.

"To complement capital and save. (Hopefully) it needs to be continued and hopefully Mr. Jokowi will remember his words in the future," he said. He also hopes that the Indonesian economy will be respectful in the future. "Hopefully the days to the direction of understanding are more stable, the economy is more respectful, especially towards small merchants," he said.
