Leading recruitment firm Michael Page has released its 2025 report on the highest-paying job positions in Indonesia. Some roles offer salaries reaching up to half a billion rupiah. So, which jobs are these?
Monico Lim, Country Director of Michael Page Indonesia, stated that salary levels in the country remain relatively steady, with annual increases typically ranging from 5% to 8%. He emphasized that the financial services sector and highly skilled professionals continue to dominate the upper salary tiers.
“The financial services industry is experiencing aggressive counteroffers to retain talent, reflecting heightened competition for skilled professionals,” Lim noted, as reported on the official Michael Page website.
He explained that top-tier professionals typically possess strong communication abilities, leadership qualities, and specialized technical skills that contribute significantly to an organization's success—qualities that justify their high salaries.
