The Financial Services Authority (OJK) emphasizes the importance of planning one's finances early to prepare for a more prosperous future. In fact, Friderica Widyasari Dewi, the Executive Head of Supervision of the Behavior of Financial Services Business Actors, Education, and Consumer Protection at OJK, stated that financial planning can begin from a young age.

According to her, children's ability to understand and manage finances is a fundamental life skill that should be possessed, regardless of their educational background. Friderica revealed that financial knowledge can help prevent fraudulent investment schemes, as victims of these schemes often lack financial knowledge.

"The investment offers that are currently growing in Indonesia are often exploited by irresponsible individuals to deceive the general public," she said in her statement on Thursday (26/10).

Therefore, good financial literacy is essential to protect the public from various scams that often use fake investments, illegal online loan offers (P2P lending), personal loans (pinpri), and online gambling that frequently traps young people.

"Remember the 2L: Legal and Logical. Never invest without checking its legality. You should also be cautious because scams are prevalent," Friderica advised.

On the other hand, the Rector of Al Azhar University Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Ir. Asep Saefuddin M.Sc., encourages students to maintain a love for learning as a means of preparing for a better future.

"Cherish the learning process because through learning, you will become more confident in your abilities," he added.
