Social media influencer Sulianto Indria Putra has achieved great success at the young age of just 18 years old.

Who would have guessed that at such a young age, Sulianto Indria Putra had managed to save up 1 million dollars, which, when converted to rupiah, amounts to over 15 billion rupiah.

"It all started with investments, then I transitioned into crypto. Eventually, I was able to achieve profits of up to 20 billion rupiah," said Sulianto Indria Putra when he was interviewed in South Jakarta on Monday (May 12, 2025).

Sulianto mentioned that, although he was not born into a family of investors or traders, his talent for investing began to develop when he was just 14 years old.

He started his business journey by offering Instagram feed design services, then moved on to offer currency exchange services and became a content creator for an online game.

"Well, it was like an agency. But back then, I didn’t know it was called an agency. I used to handle Instagram post designs for people. The fee for one post was between 100,000 to 200,000 rupiah. Total income could reach 15 million," he explained.

"Then, I switched to investing and my parents suggested I start investing in stocks," he added.

Sulianto’s investment journey began with an initial amount of 3.2 million rupiah. However, because he was underage, he registered using his parents' names.

He started investing in 2020 by trading stocks through securities banks, which coincided with the COVID-19 pandemic period, when stock prices were significantly lower than before.

"In less than a year, I made more than a 100 percent return. So, I gathered the courage to invest more into securities at other banks," he explained.

After earning substantial returns, Sulianto began to focus on the business and finance world. He then delved into the world of forex and trading after finding success in stocks.

However, Sulianto didn’t profit immediately; in fact, he suffered losses of up to 80 percent before eventually succeeding.

Not giving up, Sulianto turned his attention to studying cryptocurrency, learning about blockchain technology and digital assets.

His hard work eventually paid off, and now he has earned his first 20 billion rupiah from the efforts he started in 2021.

"After achieving success, I founded a crypto community named Trade with Suli at the end of 2023. Now, over 60,000 members have joined the community," he shared.

"I've trained many investors and traders across various platforms like YouTube and Discord," he added.

Furthermore, Sulianto Indria Putra is also active in sharing knowledge through his Instagram account, @suliantoindriaputra, where he discusses various investment strategies and modern financial techniques.

He also offered a message for beginner traders.

"For beginner traders, my main advice is to learn and practice wisely, focus on educating yourself, and don't rush. Start with a small capital, make a clear trading plan, and understand the risks before diving into the market," said Sulianto Indria Putra.

"Patience, discipline, and good risk management are the keys to success in trading," he concluded.
