DIGIVESTASI - A total of 15 investors, both private and government, will launch the construction phase in the National Capital City (IKN) in January to February 2024. This was conveyed by the Deputy Minister of Finance and Investment of the IKN Agency, Agung Wicaksono, who said that his party had obtained a list of companies and projects that would be built, although the amount had not yet been determined. 

Agung said in an online press conference on Friday (December 29, 2023), "The January-February investment breakthrough, I cannot mention the value yet, but there are 15 companies in the pipeline." Among the 15 investors, there are two companies that focus on environmentally friendly projects: Arsari Djojohadikusumo Fund for the orangutan conservation island project and PT Indonesia for the botanical garden. 

Meanwhile, Indonesian conglomerates include some of Indonesia's well-known large companies such as Agung Sedayu, Adaro, Sinarmas, Pulauintan, Salim Group, Astra, Kawan Lama, Mulia Group, Barito Pacific and Alfamart that will build green cities. In addition, Ciputra will also build green housing projects, hotels, and golf courses in IKN.

Meanwhile, investors other than green projects are the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), and BPJS Health. Agung continued, "This shows that IKN Gaspol in 2024 will continue to make investment breakthroughs and we are ready to work together, work together to realize green cities, smart cities and the ceremony will begin on August 17, 2024." 

Throughout 2023, the IKN Government registered 23 investors to conduct groundbreaking in IKN with a total funding value of IDR 41 trillion for various projects supporting regional development.
