The board of directors of PT MD Entertainment Tbk (FILM) increased its share ownership through two separate transactions conducted in early February 2026. Both transactions were carried out under a repurchase agreement (repo) scheme.

According to a share ownership report submitted to the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia, acting as a board member, reported the first transaction on February 6, 2026.

In that transaction, the director purchased 751,881,100 shares at a price of Rp6,400 per share using a repo mechanism.

As a result, share ownership rose from 458,809,600 shares (4.21%) to 566,084,500 shares (5.20%). The total nominal value of this transaction was approximately Rp4.8 trillion.

The second transaction took place on February 9, 2026, in which the director again acquired 48,357,400 shares at Rp5,200 per share, also under a repo arrangement.

Following the second transaction, ownership increased from 566,081,500 shares (5.20%) to 614,441,900 shares (5.64%). The value of the second transaction was estimated at around Rp251 billion.

The report also stated that in the first transaction, the reporting party held controlling status but had no intention of maintaining control. Meanwhile, in the second transaction, the reporting party was no longer classified as a controlling shareholder.

For reference, a repo transaction is a financing arrangement in which shares are used as the underlying asset in a sale and purchase agreement with a commitment to repurchase them at a later date. This means the transaction is not conducted purely in cash, but rather through a financing structure backed by share collateral.

Meanwhile, FILM shares have risen 8.11% since the beginning of the week to reach the 7,000 level. However, over the past month, the stock has declined by 43.2% from its previous level of 12,325.
