Unilever (UNVR) Profit Soars 126% to Rp7.64 Trillion in 2025 – What’s Driving the Surge?

PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. (UNVR) reported a substantial increase in net profit throughout 2025. The consumer goods company recorded earnings of Rp7.64 trillion, surging 126.83% year-on-year (yoy) compared to Rp3.36 trillion in 2024.

According to its financial statements, UNVR posted net sales of Rp31.94 trillion, reflecting a 4.31% yoy growth from Rp30.62 trillion in the previous year. The largest contribution continued to come from the home and personal care segment, which generated Rp23.35 trillion or grew 4.16% yoy. Meanwhile, the food and beverage segment recorded sales of Rp8.58 trillion, increasing 4.74% yoy.

 

Geographically, domestic sales rose 3.98% yoy to Rp31 trillion. Export sales, on the other hand, climbed 16.48% yoy to Rp942.13 billion.

 

On the cost side, cost of goods sold increased 5.5% yoy to Rp16.96 trillion. As a result, gross profit rose 3% yoy to Rp14.99 trillion. However, efficiency measures were evident in the decline of marketing and selling expenses to Rp7.39 trillion from Rp7.67 trillion. General and administrative expenses also decreased to Rp2.93 trillion from Rp3.06 trillion.

 

The combination of revenue growth and cost efficiency drove operating profit up 20.61% yoy to Rp4.59 trillion, compared to Rp3.80 trillion in 2024.

 

From a balance sheet perspective, UNVR’s total assets as of December 31, 2025 stood at Rp20.01 trillion, with liabilities amounting to Rp15.54 trillion and equity at Rp4.47 trillion. Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalents surged significantly by 750% yoy to Rp5.70 trillion, up from Rp671.18 billion at the end of 2024.
