DIGIVESTASI - Apple will officially launch Vision Pro on February 2 in the United States at a price of 3,499 USD or equivalent to around Rp 54.4 million. (exchange rate of IDR 15,566 per dollar). The virtual reality (VR) device made by the Cupertino tech giant can be pre-ordered starting January 19. 

Apple also revealed the price of Zeiss prescription lenses that users can use with Vision Pro. 
Reading glasses will be available for an additional price of US$99 or around Rp1.5 million, while prescription glasses are sold for US$149 or around Rp2.3 million. 

The base model of Vision Pro has 256GB of storage and comes with several accessories, such as single-ring tape and double-ring tape, one light pad and two light pads, Apple Vision Pro case, polishing cloth, battery, USB-C charging cable and USB-C power adapter.  Apple first introduced the Vision Pro headset at the World Developers Conference in June 2023.

Priced at Rp 50 million, the Vision Pro offers a 4K display for each eye and lets you switch between augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) with a button on the side of the device.  The device is powered by a dual-chip setup consisting of Apple's M2 chip and the new R1 chip, which processes data from internal sensors, cameras and microphones. 
Users can also navigate the interface without a controller as the device supports eye, head and hand tracking. 

Apple itself introduced the device as a way to interact with its popular apps, such as FaceTime, Photos, and Movies, as well as watch space videos taken with the iPhone 15 Pro.  Apple says users will be able to access more than 150 3D movie titles through the Apple TV app. This integration is possible because the headphones run VisionOS, Apple's new operating system that the company says can be used with most iPhone and iPad apps without requiring additional work from developers.
