PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has entered into a strategic partnership with Indodax, Indonesia’s largest crypto trading platform, to promote technology-based financial inclusion and literacy through the launch of the BRI X Indodax Co-Branding Debit Card.

This initiative targets tech-savvy communities, digital asset users, and younger generations seeking modern, secure, and efficient banking services. Through this latest product, BRI offers seamless transactions with premium features specifically designed for Indodax customers.

Indodax users who open a BRI account will receive an exclusive debit card offering various benefits, including real-time transaction fee waivers, access to currency conversion for up to 12 currencies to support cross-border payments, cashback of up to IDR 100,000, and an additional airdrop bonus of 25,000 IDRX for deposits starting from IDR 1 million.

Moreover, customers will also receive accident insurance coverage of up to 250% of their account balance, with a maximum of IDR 150 million, and access to BRI and Indodax loyalty programs featuring attractive promotions and rewards.

The card activation process has been designed to be seamless and user-friendly, starting from account opening with special flagging, data submission to Indodax, and reward token issuance as part of an integrated digital ecosystem.

To further boost the program’s exposure, BRI and Indodax will co-host Coinfest Asia 2025 in Bali on Friday, August 22, 2025. Coinfest Asia is an international event that brings together the blockchain community, startups, investors, and digital enthusiasts.

Aquaris Rudianto, BRI’s Director of Network & Retail Funding, stated that this collaboration demonstrates BRI’s adaptability to technological advancements and the evolving needs of modern customers. “The launch of the BRI X Indodax Co-Branding Debit Card is a concrete step to support the growth of digital asset literacy in Indonesia,” he said.

The program is projected to boost BRI’s Third-Party Funds (CASA) and fee-based income. Additionally, this initiative aligns with BRI’s strategy to expand its customer base, grow its digital ecosystem, and strengthen financial inclusion across Indonesia.

Aquaris added that the launch of this card highlights BRI’s transformation in delivering relevant digital financial innovations for the modern generation. “Through this collaboration, BRI not only expands access to tech-driven banking services but also reinforces its position as a universal bank,” he concluded.
