DIGIVESTASI - PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (IDX: BBTN) has set aside Rp 19.68 trillion in cash to cover Christmas and New Year (Christmas) from December 18, 2023 to January 5, 2024. 

BBTN Corporate Secretary Ramon Armando explained that the amount increased by 3.5 percent compared to the planned allocation of Rp 19 trillion last Christmas. 

He told the media last weekend: "To ensure we meet our customers' cash needs for the period December 18, 2022 to January 5, 2024, around Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024." . 

Ramon added that of the total cash resources of Rp 19.68 trillion, Rp 5.9 trillion or 30 percent was allocated for ATM replenishment throughout Indonesia. The remaining IDR 13.76 trillion or 70 percent of the budgeted cash resources will be allocated to provide cash resources at each branch in various regions. Ramon said the decision to increase the cash allocation for Christmas and New Year was also due to the increased purchasing power of the community. 

"Along with the increasing number of people on the move ahead of Christmas and New Year, the cash allocation has also increased compared to last year," he explained.  
To facilitate banking transactions, Ramon advises customers to use BTN Mobile, which now has very complete features.
