The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) plans to appoint approximately 32,000 employees under the Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) scheme in February. To support this workforce expansion, a budget of Rp71 trillion has been allocated.
BGN Head Dadan Hindayana stated that the agency has already completed the first phase of PPPK recruitment, which covered 2,080 positions and resulted in appointments on July 1, 2025. Meanwhile, the second phase of recruitment has been carried out, involving around 32,000 candidates.
“In the second phase, about 32,000 applicants have registered and gone through the selection process, including computer-based testing,” Dadan said during a working meeting with Commission XI of the House of Representatives on Tuesday (Jan 20, 2026).
Of the total 32,000 personnel to be appointed, 31,250 will be recruited through special allocation schemes, while the remaining 750 will come from the general allocation, consisting of 375 accountants and 375 nutrition professionals.
These PPPK employees will be assigned to Nutrition Service Fulfillment Units (SPPG) across the country that support the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program.
According to Dadan, the announcement of results for the second selection phase is scheduled for January 12–13, 2026. This will be followed by the submission of personal data forms from January 14–23, 2026, and the proposal process for PPPK identification numbers from January 24–31, 2026.
He expects the official appointment of the PPPK employees to be finalized by February 1, 2026.
