Foreign investors recorded net share purchases of Rp664.24 billion across the market in trading reported by Bloomberg Technoz on October 29, 2026. Net buying on the regular market was Rp257.74 billion. In the preceding session, the IDX Composite rose 0.31% to 5,282. Those figures describe a specific trading day and do not prove that inflows will continue.
Shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) were a prominent destination for foreign funds. The report said foreign net buying in BBCA reached Rp1.17 trillion and its share price rose 7.65% to Rp5,275. The difference between total market net buying and the flow into one stock can occur when foreign investors sell other shares or trade in different market segments.
Net buying is the difference between purchase and sale values over the period measured. It can indicate investor activity, but it is not enough to determine an issuer’s fundamentals or a long-term index trend. Prices are also affected by earnings, valuation, interest rates, liquidity and domestic conditions.
Retail investors can use the data as analytical context rather than an automatic signal to follow other investors’ trades. Check the measurement date, market coverage and overall transaction values before making decisions.
