The Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) 2026 is being held at JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta from October 29 to November 1. The exhibition comes amid growth in Indonesian sales of battery electric vehicles.

Periklindo Chairman Moeldoko said electric vehicles could reshape the automotive industry through changes in ideas, technology and energy use. He also cited potential benefits such as lower operating costs, reduced pressure on fuel subsidies and lower emissions. These were views he expressed at the opening of the show.

## Exhibitors and participating brands

Nine brands confirmed participation in the four-wheel category: BAIC, BYD, Chery, Danza, DFSK, MAB, MG, Polytron and Wuling. Six two-wheel brands were named: Alva, AHM, Indomobil E-Motor, Polytron, Selis and United e-Motor.

The organizer also listed 17 participants from supporting industries and technology, plus eight participants in the mobility zone. Alongside product displays, the event includes business-matching opportunities under business-to-business, business-to-government and business-to-consumer formats. Admission to the exhibition is free, according to the report.

## Sales data and transaction target

Data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), cited by Bisnis.com, showed wholesale battery electric vehicle sales reached 117,218 units in January–September 2026. That was a 112.25% increase from 55,225 units in the same period a year earlier.

PEVS 2026 set a transaction target of Rp500 billion over four days. This is the organizer’s goal, not a confirmed realized transaction value. The event and subsequent sales data will provide further indications of market demand and the development of Indonesia’s electric-vehicle ecosystem.
