DIGIVESTASI - Motorcycle and car parking at minimarkets should be free. If calculated, the income of minimarket parking attendants can reach tens of millions of dong. This has been reminded by the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub).
Quoted from Viva.co.id, Director of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Syafrin Liputo admitted that his party had coordinated with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Civil Police Unit (Satpol PP) to eradicate the situation in Jakarta.
An entrepreneur and content creator, Oscar Darmawan, conducted research on the income of convenience store parking attendants in Jakarta. Through his video content on Instagram, Oscar said that the income of parking attendants could exceed the UMP salary of office workers in Jakarta.
Inevitably, under such conditions, Oscar will record vehicles parked for a day at three minimarkets in Jakarta (July 5). At the first minimarket, he counted 150 motorcycles and 30 cars parked. Then, the second small market had 200 motorcycles and 45 cars. Meanwhile, the third minimarket has 100 motorcycles and 60 cars. For self-parking fees, motorcycles are usually priced at Rp 2,000 and cars at Rp 5,000.
He also multiplied the nominal amount by the number of cars parked every day. Then, the total revenue from motorcycle and car maintenance is added up and multiplied by 30 days or a month. Oscar also knows that these three convenience stores together make tens of millions of rupees every month just from parking. Let's assume this calculation applies to an entire month.
According to him, in a month at each minimarket location, the parking attendants earn Rp13.5 million, Rp18.7 million and Rp15 million respectively. I calculated it for 30 days because they rarely take leave. (RED.)
