DIGIVESTASI - Kompas R & D Survey: President Jokowi's Positive Image Increases Toward the End of His Term. The results of the latest Kompas R & D survey revealed that the positive image of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reached 89.4 percent towards the end of his term in October. The survey, which was conducted from May 27 to June 2, 2024, was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,200 respondents in 38 provinces in Indonesia, using a multilevel systematic sampling method. This survey has a 95% confidence level and a margin of error of around 2.83 percent.

The survey results show an increasing trend in Jokowi's positive image. In the December 2023 survey, Jokowi's positive image was at 81.3 percent. Now, there is an increase of about 8 percent in positive perceptions of President Jokowi.

- Good: 68,9%
- Don't Know: 3%
- Very Poor: 0,7%
- Poor: 6,9%

This increase in positive image is largely influenced by the euphoria of the 2024 elections. The Kompas R & D survey noted that the public appreciated the implementation of elections that went smoothly and without significant conflict, especially at the grassroots level, although there were some notes.

In addition, the resolution of the 2024 Election dispute, which was not protracted, also contributed to an increase in the assessment of Jokowi. The successful organization of the 2024 elections has a positive impact on President Jokowi's image in the eyes of the public.
