1. Raffi Ahmad Clarifies Sam’s Studio Is Not His Personal Business

Responding to speculation about his ownership of Sam’s Studio, Raffi explained that his involvement is limited to the culinary sector. He revealed plans to open several food ventures at the cinema’s locations.

"This is not solely my personal property. It’s a collaborative effort. My focus is more on the food business with Nagita. She’s opening several businesses, like fried rice and Rojo Sambel, to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The key is synergy between the government and entrepreneurs," said Raffi on Monday.

When asked if he had invested in the project, Raffi replied succinctly, "Wait for Nagita's take on it. In RANS, the boss is Nagita."

2. Sam’s Studio: A Solution to the Shortage of Screens for Indonesian Films

Raffi highlighted that Sam’s Studio is designed to address key challenges faced by the national film industry, particularly the lack of screening platforms for Indonesian films. He emphasized that Sam’s Studio is more than just a cinema; it is envisioned as a creative culture hub.

"Many friends in the film industry have raised issues needing solutions, like a lack of screens, human resources, and piracy concerns. Sam’s Studio is here to meet the demand for more screens. God willing, it will be launched on December 5. It’s not just a cinema but a space for filmmakers to showcase more Indonesian films," Raffi explained.

3. Raffi Ahmad Yet to See Sam’s Studio in Person

Although involved in the launch of Sam’s Studio, Raffi admitted he has not seen the cinema in person. However, he assured that it is designed with a unique concept and promises high quality.

"Technically, I haven’t seen it yet. So, let’s see it together on December 5. But one thing’s for sure: this is not an ordinary cinema. It’s a truly high-quality one," Raffi said.

Sam’s Studio is initially planned to open in 17 regencies, with further expansion to other regions targeted in the coming years.
