DIGIVESTASI - President Prabowo Subianto and his delegation arrived in Beijing, China, on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 6:30 PM local time. Prabowo is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

Foreign Minister Sugiono stated that President Prabowo's state visit began in Beijing, with the first agenda being a bilateral meeting with the Chairman of the National People's Congress of China, Zhao Leji.

Next, Prabowo will continue meetings with Chinese Premier Li Qiang. Additionally, Prabowo is also scheduled to visit Tiananmen Square, one of the historic monuments in Beijing, to lay a wreath.

"In the evening, President Prabowo will continue the bilateral meeting with President Xi Jinping, which will be followed by a state dinner," said Sugiono, as quoted from a video statement by the Presidential Secretariat on Saturday, November 9, 2024.

During this visit, Prabowo is accompanied by several ministers from the Indonesia Maju Cabinet. Some of the ministers attending the state visit in Beijing include Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Deputy Minister of Defense Doni Hermawan, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Stella Christie, as well as senior military officials such as Air Force Chief of Staff Marshal TNI M. Tonny Harjono and Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Muhammad Ali.
