DIGIVESTASI - Prabowo Funds Red and White Cabinet Retreat in Magelang, President Prabowo Subianto has reportedly personally funded the Red and White Cabinet Retreat, which took place at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java, last weekend. 

This statement was made by Abdul Kadir Karding, the Minister of Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection and Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency, as quoted by Antara on Monday, October 28, 2024.

“Mr. Prabowo funded it himself,” Karding said.

Karding added that the retreat provided a positive impression for the ministers and deputy ministers in attendance.

The Red and White Cabinet Retreat lasted for four days, from Thursday, October 24, 2024, to Sunday, October 27, 2024, as reported by Kompas.tv.

Meanwhile, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni stated that the retreat clarified the orientation of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, focusing on the welfare of the people and national independence.

“This event was very interesting and encouraging. I feel that this retreat adds clarity to the vision, mission, and goals of the administration led by Mr. Prabowo,” said Raja.

He explained that each session in the retreat was complemented by material from ministers and heads of agencies discussing the direction of the government moving forward.

On the other hand, Minister of Housing and Settlements (PKP) Maruarar Sirait added that the retreat aimed to build and create a solid team to face various national challenges.

“First and foremost, we must be united. There is no 'Superman'; what we have is a 'super team.' All of this is under the President's leadership, and no one can act alone. Everyone must coordinate,” Maruarar emphasized.
