DIGIVESTASI - Democratic Party Chairman Nas Surya Parow said he was saddened to hear that former Democratic Party Secretary General Nas Shahrul Yassin Limpo (SYL) committed corruption while serving as Minister of Agriculture (Kumentan). The personal allowances in question include financing the purchase of a car for SYL's child, financing the purchase of glasses for SYL and his wife, financing the operational costs of the official house, circumcision of grandchildren, and grandchildren's birthdays. SYL also asked the Ministry of Agriculture to pay credit card bills, his wife's monthly allowance, car installments, skin care for his children and grandchildren, wedding gifts, apartment maintenance fees, and hairdresser fees for SYL's child. In this case, prosecutors of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) alleged that SYL obtained Rp 44.5 billion by extorting subordinates and officials of the Ministry of Agriculture for personal and family interests.
