In fact, the government has prohibited the merger of e-commerce and social networks in one platform through Ministry of Trade Regulation (Permendag) Number 31 of 2023, Article 21 paragraph (3). Furthermore, Article 51 paragraph (1) details that business entities that violate the provisions will be sanctioned with a written warning.

 

Then in paragraph (2) it is explained that the written warning as referred to in paragraph (1) is given a maximum of 3 (three) times within a period of 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of issuance of the previous warning letter.

 

Meanwhile, paragraph (3) clearly states that if within the period referred to in paragraph (2), the business entity still does not fulfill its obligations, it will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of being included in the black and white list. temporarily blocking PPMSE.
