Antam Gold Hits New All-Time High, Reaches Rp 1.916 Million per Gram

The price of 24-karat gold produced by PT Antam Tbk surged to a record high on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. The gold price jumped by Rp 20,000 compared to the previous day, now trading at Rp 1,916,000 per gram.

Previously, the highest price stood at Rp 1,904,000 per gram on Saturday (April 12), before dipping to Rp 1,896,000 on Monday (April 14) and holding steady through Tuesday (April 15).

The smallest denomination, 0.5 gram, is currently priced at Rp 1,008,000. A 10-gram bar is sold at Rp 18,655,000, while the largest size—1,000 grams (1 kg)—is valued at Rp 1,856,600,000.

Over the past week, Antam gold prices have ranged from Rp 1,754,000 to Rp 1,918,000 per gram. In the past month, the price movement has been between Rp 1,739,000 and Rp 1,918,000 per gram.

Buyback prices have also risen in line with selling prices, increasing by Rp 20,000 to reach Rp 1,765,000 per gram. This is the rate at which Antam repurchases gold from customers.

According to Finance Minister Regulation (PMK) No. 34/2017, gold bar purchases are subject to a 0.9% income tax (PPh 22). Buyers can enjoy a reduced rate of 0.45% if they provide a valid taxpayer ID (NPWP).
