Antam Gold Price Drops Rp 14,000, Buyback Falls by Rp 15,000

The price of gold bullion from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam/ANTM) fell significantly by Rp 14,000 on Tuesday morning (March 11, 2025), bringing the price down to Rp 1,679,000 per gram.

According to data from Logam Mulia, the Antam gold price had previously risen Rp 3,000 on Monday (March 10, 2025), reaching Rp 1,693,000 per gram.

The all-time high (ATH) for Antam gold was recorded on March 5, 2025, at Rp 1,709,000 per gram.

Meanwhile, the buyback price for Antam gold also declined by Rp 15,000 on Tuesday morning (March 11, 2025), settling at Rp 1,528,000 per gram.

Tax Regulations on Gold Transactions

Gold transactions are subject to tax deductions as per Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 34/PMK.10/2017.

Gold resale transactions exceeding Rp 10 million are subject to Income Tax (PPh 22) at a rate of 1.5% for taxpayers with a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3% for those without an NPWP. This tax is directly deducted from the total buyback value.

For gold purchases, PPh 22 is set at 0.45% for NPWP holders and 0.9% for non-NPWP holders, with a tax deduction receipt provided for each transaction.
