Antam Gold Price Hits Historic High, Surpasses IDR 2 Million per Gram

Jakarta – The price of Antam’s 24-karat gold has officially broken its all-time high, reaching IDR 2,016,000 per gram on Tuesday (April 22, 2025). This milestone marks a rapid ascent, considering the price only first touched the IDR 1 million mark in late 2022.

According to Antam’s official Logam Mulia website, gold prices first surpassed IDR 1 million per gram on December 2, 2022, rising from IDR 991,000 to IDR 1,004,000 per gram.

For the remainder of 2022, the price hovered between IDR 984,000 and IDR 1,026,000, closing the year at IDR 1,026,000 per gram.

In 2023, prices remained relatively stable within the IDR 1,000,000–1,096,000 range. A notable jump came in October, reaching IDR 1,100,000 and continuing upward to IDR 1,136,000. The year ended with a gold price of IDR 1,130,000—an increase of IDR 104,000 from January.

Throughout January and February 2024, prices fluctuated between IDR 1,115,000 and IDR 1,151,000. A sharp rally began in March, hitting IDR 1,204,000 and later climbing past IDR 1,400,000 by July. The peak for 2024 came in October at IDR 1,567,000 per gram, and the year ended at IDR 1,515,000—an annual gain of IDR 485,000.

The upward momentum extended into 2025. By the end of January, gold had risen to IDR 1,620,000, followed by IDR 1,678,000 in February and IDR 1,806,000 by the end of March.

A dramatic surge occurred in April 2025, shortly after the Eid holidays. After briefly dropping to IDR 1,754,000, gold prices skyrocketed to IDR 2,016,000 per gram in just two weeks. This IDR 262,000 increase marks the fastest and steepest rise in Antam gold’s recorded history.
