Economic promises of Anies, Prabowo and Ganjar if they win the 2024 presidential election

DIGIVESTASI - The three candidates for President and Vice President for the 2024 elections have revealed their vision and mission in the economic sector. This will be realized if they are later elected to lead Indonesia. 

 

Some of the visions and missions in the economic sector include expanding road infrastructure, developing human resources (HR), improving technology, and expanding employment opportunities. 

 

Candidate Number 1 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Yimin) has created a zero percent program to alleviate extreme poverty by 2026.

 

Candidate number two, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabumin Raka, also has a similar goal and wants to reduce extreme poverty to 0 percent within two years of taking office. Candidate number 3, Dr. Gunjal Pranowo Mahood, has also included eradicating extreme poverty in his agenda, but no timeline has been given. 

 

Here is the full list of economic promises made by the candidates,

Anis Cak Imin 
The vision and mission of this first-ranked candidate pair carries the theme "Fair and Prosperous Indonesia for All". 

 

1. Economic equality throughout Indonesia 
2. Setting UMP that is fair to workers without burdening employers 
3. Reduce inequality in spending 
4. Make maximum use of the state budget to reduce poverty to the level of 4% by 2029 (March 2023 poverty rate was 9.36%) 
5. Eliminate extreme poverty to zero percent by 2026 
6. Create at least 16 million new jobs each year from 2025 to 2029 
7. Reduce the published unemployment rate from 5.45 percent in February 2023 to 3.5-4 percent in 2029. 
8th place. The goal is to increase the economic growth rate to 6.5% in the period 2025-2029. 
9. Reduce the debt ratio from currently around 38 percent to less than 30 percent of GDP.

 

Prabowo Gibran 
Mr. Prabowo-Gibran presented their vision and mission with the theme, "Together Indonesia Maju Towards Golden Indonesia 2045." 

 

1. The national economy grows by 7% starting in 2025.

3. Reducing the unemployment rate 
Four. Reducing extreme poverty to 0% within two years of taking office 
5. By the end of his term, the poverty rate decreased to less than 6 percent. 
6. Renovate 40 houses per village per year

8. Continuation of Jokowi's Direct Cash Transfer (BLT) Program 
9. Raising the salaries of civil servants, military and police 
10. Continuation of Jokowi's "magic" card program, from the social welfare card to the Smart Indonesia Card. 
11. Sustainable food and energy self-sufficiency 
12. Continuation of the downstream energy program.

 

Ganjar Mahfud MD
Ganjar and Dr. Mahfud have a vision and mission with the theme: "Towards Greater Indonesia: Rapid Action to Realize an Equitable and Sustainable Maritime Nation." 


1. National economic goal: 7% growth. 
2. Create 17 million new jobs every year 
3. Reduce the number of published unemployment figures 
Four. Facilitate the distribution of bank credit of at least 35% up to market level to MSMEs 
5. Optimistic that manufacturing can grow up to 8% 
6. National poverty decreases to 2.5% 
7. Extreme poverty will become 0% 
8. Encourage Industrialization 5.0.
