DIGIVESTASI - IHSG Rises This Week, but VISI and SAPX Shares Rank Among Top Losers, The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) recorded gains over the past week, yet several stocks suffered significant price declines, landing them in the top losers category. The biggest drop was recorded by PT Satu Visi Putra Tbk. (VISI), whose share price plummeted by 46.61%, from IDR 236 to IDR 126 per share.

VISI was followed by PT Jakarta International Hotels & Development Tbk. (JIHD), which fell by 27.76%, dropping from IDR 2,720 to IDR 1,965 per share.

PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk. (ASBI) ranked third with a 22.06% decline, from IDR 680 to IDR 530 per share. Other significant decliners included PT Voksel Electric Tbk. (VOKS), down 20.99% to IDR 256 per share, and PT Berlina Tbk. (BRNA), which dropped 19.54% from IDR 870 to IDR 700 per share.

Shares of CITY and SSMS each saw declines of 19.38% and 17.79%, closing the week at IDR 129 and IDR 1,040 per share, respectively. Meanwhile, shares of SMLE, TOSK, and SAPX also posted sharp declines of 17.01%, 16.67%, and 16.51%, respectively.

IHSG and Market Performance for the Week

According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as of Saturday (Dec 7, 2024), the IHSG rose by 3.77%, from 7,114.26 to 7,382.78. The increase was supported by an 8.66% rise in the average daily transaction frequency, reaching 1.24 million transactions per day.

However, the average daily transaction value (RNTH) fell by 20.30% to IDR 10.72 trillion, compared to IDR 13.45 trillion the previous week. Daily trading volume also dropped sharply by 30.19% to 18.22 billion shares, down from last week’s 26.10 billion shares.

Market Capitalization and Foreign Fund Flows

Market capitalization grew by 5.60% over the week, reaching IDR 12,673 trillion, up from IDR 12,000 trillion in the previous week. Additionally, foreign investors recorded a net inflow of IDR 1.07 trillion, reversing the net outflow of IDR 3.89 trillion seen the previous week.
