Despite IHSG Rally, Foreign Investors Quietly Dump These 10 Stocks

In the first trading session of the week following the long weekend holiday, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in positive territory. The index climbed 97.96 points to reach 8,310.23 at the close of trading on Wednesday (February 18, 2026).

 

Total transaction value amounted to Rp23.33 trillion, involving 52.75 billion shares traded across 3.2 million transactions. Of all listed stocks, 454 advanced, 216 declined, and 145 remained unchanged.

 

Alongside the index’s gains, foreign investors were recorded making substantial purchases, with total net buying reaching Rp1.44 trillion across the entire market. The breakdown shows Rp466.27 billion in the regular market and Rp975.73 billion in the negotiated and cash markets.

 

Nevertheless, several stocks were heavily sold by foreign investors. Citing data from Stockbit, the following are the ten stocks with the highest net foreign sell values during Wednesday’s trading:

  • PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI) – Rp704.98 billion

  • PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) – Rp175.54 billion

  • PT Petrosea Tbk. (PTRO) – Rp109.12 billion

  • PT Darma Henwa Tbk. (DEWA) – Rp95.25 billion

  • PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk. (BRMS) – Rp90.73 billion

  • PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk. (GOTO) – Rp74.70 billion

  • PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk. (ENRG) – Rp53.72 billion

  • PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk. (INKP) – Rp37.44 billion

  • PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (BRPT) – Rp29.28 billion

  • PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk. (TPIA) – Rp26.93 billion
