Foreign Investors Caught Secretly Buying 10 Stocks While IDX Turns Red

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) weakened in trading on Thursday, September 18, 2024. The index closed lower by 0.21% or 16.75 points, ending at 8,008.43.

 

At market close, 421 stocks were in the red, 287 advanced, and 248 remained unchanged. The total transaction value reached IDR 21.34 trillion, with 42 billion shares changing hands across 2.38 million transactions.

 

Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a net sell of IDR 358.32 billion across all markets. Of this amount, IDR 265.45 billion came from the regular market, while IDR 92.87 billion was from the negotiated and cash markets.

  • PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) – IDR 248.8 billion

  • PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) – IDR 71.9 billion

  • PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) – IDR 38.9 billion

  • PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) – IDR 36.6 billion

  • PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) – IDR 34.3 billion

  • PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) – IDR 29.6 billion

  • PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) – IDR 25.9 billion

  • PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) – IDR 24.6 billion

  • PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) – IDR 16.8 billion
