After setting a new record high earlier in the week, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed lower on Tuesday (December 9, 2025). The index finished down 0.61%, slipping 53.51 points to 8,657.18.
Trading value reached Rp26.18 trillion, with 54.21 billion shares exchanged through 3.11 million transactions. A total of 250 stocks advanced, 432 declined, and 119 remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a net buy of Rp68.92 billion in the regular market. However, they also posted a net sell of Rp226.34 billion in the regular market and Rp295.27 billion in the negotiated and cash markets combined.
