DIGIVESTASI - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking for phase VII investment in IKN. At least four investors are ready to participate in this event.

OIKN's Deputy for Funding and Investment, Agung Wicaksono, stated that from phase I to VI, OIKN has raised Rp51.3 trillion in investment.

With phase VII, the expected investment value reaches Rp60 trillion, so phase VII is expected to contribute around Rp8.7 trillion.

"If from stages 1 to VI it has reached around Rp51.3 trillion, then with this seventh groundbreaking it is likely that the total investment will be close to Rp60 trillion," Agung said at IKN, Friday (9/8/2024).

The four investors who will participate in this phase are BCA Bank, which will build offices, Intiland, which plans to build residential projects, Swiss-Belhotel, and a project from conglomerate Sukanto Tanoto through Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) for the construction of a five-star hotel.

Plt. Head of OIKN, Basuki Hadimuljono, said that the number of projects that will conduct groundbreaking this time is deliberately limited. This aims to reduce construction activities ahead of preparations for the 79th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony at IKN on August 17, where construction work will be stopped on August 10.

"Not many projects are groundbreaking this time because we will focus on preparations for August 17 at IKN," Basuki said.
