GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Stock Stuck at Penny Level as MSCI Highlights Liquidity Concerns

The Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) opened lower in today’s trading session, Friday (29/5/2026), following the national holiday and collective leave for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah.
Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) at 09:00 WIB, the IHSG opened at 6,112.77, down 0.28 percent or 17.42 points compared to the previous closing level of 6,130.19.
During the early trading session, the index moved within the range of 6,112.91 to 6,136.24.
Stock trading activity appeared relatively active, with transaction volume reaching 1.346 billion shares and transaction value amounting to Rp1.124 trillion.
Trading frequency was recorded at 76.46 thousand transactions, while market capitalization reached Rp10.716 trillion.
In terms of stock movement, 209 stocks advanced, 232 stocks declined, and 518 stocks remained unchanged.
In line with the IHSG’s decline, several major indices on the Indonesia Stock Exchange also moved lower.
At the beginning of the session, the LQ45 index fell 1.11 percent to 613.49. The IDX30 index also weakened by 1.20 percent to 349.85.
Meanwhile, the KOMPAS100 index slipped 0.13 percent to 807.78. The Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) also edged down 1.06 percent to 377.88.
Sharia-based stock indices also traded in negative territory, with the ISSI declining 0.18 percent to 214.83.
Blue-chip stocks included in the LQ45 index posted mixed performances during the early trading session.
Shares of PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) rose 0.6 percent to 8,375, followed by PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), which gained 0.87 percent to 2,320.
Meanwhile, shares of PT Alamtri Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) also climbed 0.99 percent to 1,525.
On the other hand, several banking stocks traded lower in the early session. Shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) declined 2.51 percent to 5,825, while PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) fell 0.78 percent to 3,810.
Shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) also weakened at the start of trading, slipping 0.65 percent to 3,050.
