DIGIVESTASI - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) managed to strengthen by 8.04 points or 0.11% to 7,504.1 at the close of trading on Monday (7/10/2024). Although the JCI ended positively, a number of investors actually suffered large losses due to a significant decline in five stocks that fell into the top losers category.
Based on RTI data, the five stocks that experienced the biggest decline fell up to 21% in one day. Shares of PT Ingria Pratama Capitalindo Tbk (GRIA) fell the most with a 21.7% drop to Rp 180. Meanwhile, shares of PT Satria Antaran Prima Tbk (SAPX) were cut 11.3% to Rp 2,880, and PT Global Sukses Digital Tbk (DOSS) fell 10.4% to Rp 155.
Two other stocks also experienced corrections, namely PT Agro Yasa Lestari Tbk (AYLS) which fell 10% to Rp 63 and PT Mineral Sumberdaya Mandiri Tbk (AKSI) corrected 8.3% to Rp 550.
Meanwhile, when the JCI strengthened, a number of stock indices in the Asian region also recorded gains. The Straits Times (Singapore) rose 0.1%, the Nikkei (Japan) jumped 1.8%, and the Hang Seng (Hong Kong) rose 1.6%. Meanwhile, the Shanghai stock exchange (China) is on holiday.
Top Gainers Stocks
In addition, five stocks managed to record significant gains and entered the list of top gainers or top cuan, with an increase of up to 34%. Among them, the shares of PT Sumber Sinergi Makmur Tbk (IOTF) recorded a maximum increase of 34.8% to reach the Upper Auto Rejection limit (ARA), to IDR 182.
The other four stocks on the top gainers list were PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), which rose 25.2% to Rp 144, PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG), which gained 14.7% to Rp 975, PT Logindo Samudramakmur Tbk (LEAD), which jumped 10.5% to Rp 115, and PT Manggung Polahraya Tbk (MANG), which rose 9.7% to Rp 113.
