Stock Price Soars 19,102% Since IPO

PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) officially debuted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on January 6, 2021, approximately four years ago. At the time of its initial public offering (IPO), the stock was priced at IDR 420 per share.

Now, DCII’s stock has surged by an astonishing 19,102% since its IPO. Investors who held onto their shares since the beginning have seen extraordinary returns.

Previously, Otto Toto Sugiri revealed the reasons behind DCII’s massive price surge beyond its IPO value.

Speaking on the YouTube channel "Helmi Yahya Bicara", Otto explained that DCII’s strong future growth potential as a data center company is a key driver behind the stock's surge.

Additionally, he admitted that during the IPO, DCII intentionally set a very low initial price.

"It was my first IPO. I told myself that I didn’t want investors to lose money, so we sold it at a very low price. That was one of the main reasons. I wanted to protect our reputation and ensure that investors wouldn’t suffer losses," he said in the interview.

Furthermore, Toto Sugiri highlighted that the data center industry still has few players, positioning DCII as one of its pioneers.

"We are among the pioneers who recognized the growing demand for data centers, both in Indonesia and globally," he concluded.
