DIGIVESTASI -The BYD brand is officially present in Indonesia with 3 main models of electric cars: Seal, Atto 3 and Dolphin.
One of the advantages of BYD electric vehicles is the type of battery. All BYD electric vehicles use Blade Battery Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) batteries.

BYD Motor Indonesia CEO Nathan Sun explained that batteries are the most important component in electric cars and are a consideration for consumers when buying electric vehicles.

"Because of the battery in electric vehicles, people consider it the most important. Because you always think about safety, durability and longevity. "In particular, we prioritize super safety, super durability, super durability, super longevity, and super durability," he said at the BYD launch at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta, Thursday (November 18).

In addition, BYD itself claims that the battery it uses can reach a range of up to 1.2 million km.
"The blade battery is capable of traveling more than 1.2 million km. So our customers don't need to worry. Imagine, 1.2 million km can last how many years? Don't worry about any battery issues, it's been tested. Safety is the top priority of our products.

"Thanks to the blade battery, we deliver outstanding performance," he added. BYD itself even tested the durability of its Blade Battery. If punctured by a needle, Blade batteries proved not to explode and nickel-cobalt-manganese batteries, also known as NCM-type batteries, exploded.
