Danantara said its US$1.5 billion bond issuance, equivalent to about Rp27.15 trillion at an exchange rate of Rp18,100 per US dollar, received demand nearly four times the amount issued. The information was shared by Danantara Chief Investment Officer Pandu Sjahrir at the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum in Jakarta on Monday, October 26, 2026.
According to Pandu, around 75% of demand came from investors in the United States and Europe. US investors accounted for about 52% of total demand. These figures are Pandu's statements as reported by detikFinance; this article does not independently verify the order book.
Pandu also said Danantara's credit rating was equivalent to that of the Indonesian government, based on assessments by Moody's, Fitch, and S&P. The rating statement is attributed to Pandu; the source article does not independently provide specific ratings or rating-agency documents.
The bond is part of Danantara's funding efforts in global markets. The strong demand cited by the company indicates investor interest in that issuance at the time, but does not by itself establish the cost of funding, the bond terms, or future investment performance.
