Danantara Indonesia said at least US$12 billion, or about Rp200 trillion, in 2026 state-owned enterprise dividends would be allocated to investment. COO of Danantara and CEO of Danantara Asset Management Dony Oskaria announced the plan at the Danantara Technology Innovation Investment Forum in Jakarta on October 26, 2026. Most of the funds are expected to go to commercial investments through Danantara Investment Management (DIM), while the split between DIM and the Danantara Development Management Fund (DDMF) is still under discussion.

Danantara said SOEs under its management recorded Rp214.9 trillion in profit from January to August 2026, up 18.4% from Rp181.5 trillion in the same period a year earlier. The company's presentation listed the largest profit increases at Semen Indonesia (427%), Pupuk Indonesia (233%), Danareksa (110%), PTPN III (55%), Pertamina (48%), Pelindo (45%), BTN (35%), and Bank Mandiri (16%). Krakatau Steel and Len Industri were said to have moved from losses to profits. Danantara also reported that return on equity rose to 8.0% from 7.4% in the comparison period.

DDMF CEO Sigit Puji Santosa said the dividend allocation was still being discussed. DIM focuses on commercial investments, while DDMF handles long-term investment and public-interest projects. Sigit estimated that 65–70% might go to DIM because commercial projects were considered more ready, with long-term strategic projects assigned to DDMF. This remains an estimated split, not a final allocation.

DIM CEO and Danantara CFO Pandu Sjahrir said three projects were already underway: waste-to-energy processing (PSEL), a protein-business partnership with JBS Group in Australia and New Zealand, and the Bait Jamaah or Kampung Haji area in Mecca. For PSEL, Pandu cited a US$5 billion investment plan across 33 cities, installed capacity of 660 megawatts, and processing of 35 million tonnes of waste—60% of which is currently unmanaged. Some projects were said to have started in Bali and Bogor. Danantara hopes 15–16 projects will be fully tendered by the end of 2026 and begin construction in the first quarter of 2027.

The Kampung Haji project was valued at US$500 million, with a target to build 11 towers over two years. Pandu said it would give Indonesia 100% ownership of real estate in Mecca. Three other projects remain at announcement, preparation, or evaluation stages: a US$250 million global energy investment with HighPeak Energy has been announced; an US$800 million aviation-leasing financing partnership with SMBC Aviation Capital is expected to be signed soon; and a domestic electric-vehicle ecosystem with PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas remains under evaluation.

Danantara said there had previously been a proposal to transfer Rp120 trillion to the state budget through non-tax state revenue, but the government and Danantara confirmed that proposal would not be implemented.
