DIGIVESTASI - Several fuel providers have collectively adjusted the prices of their products at gas stations starting July 1, 2024. Among them, Shell Indonesia, BP-AKR, and Vivo Energy Indonesia have reduced their prices, except for PT Pertamina (Persero).

The price of Revvo 90 (RON 90 gasoline) is now IDR 12,300 per liter, down from IDR 13,500 per liter in June 2024.

Meanwhile, PT Pertamina (Persero) has maintained its fuel prices. Heppy Wulansari, Manager of Media and Stakeholder Relations at Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that they are still evaluating non-subsidized fuel prices while continuously monitoring global crude oil prices and the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar.

"For non-subsidized fuel, we are currently evaluating and monitoring the movement of global oil prices and the exchange rate of the rupiah," Heppy told CNBC Indonesia on Tuesday (July 2, 2024).

As for subsidized fuel prices, the authority rests entirely with the government, and so far, there has been no information about plans to increase the prices of subsidized fuel, either diesel or Pertalite.
