The Temporary Cash Assistance for Public Welfare (BLTS Kesra) program launched by President Prabowo Subianto to support low-income households at the end of this year has been confirmed not to continue in 2026.

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, stated that the initiative targeting 35 million beneficiary families (KPM) was originally designed as a consumption stimulus solely for the fourth quarter of 2025.

“This serves as a year-end stimulus to boost people’s purchasing power and support economic growth,” Airlangga said at the Premier Rawamangun Post Office, Jakarta, on Thursday (December 4, 2025).

He further noted that the government will ensure BLT Kesra disbursement is completed before the end of the fiscal year. The assistance amounting to Rp 900,000 for the months of October, November, and December 2025 is expected to be fully distributed by year-end.

“Since this is a year-end stimulus for 35 million beneficiaries and 75% has already been realized, it will be completed by December,” he explained.

Airlangga reported that as of December 3, 2025, BLTS Kesra had been distributed to 26.2 million families through state-owned banks (Himbara), namely Bank Mandiri, BSI, BRI, and BNI.

“For PT Pos, including the Rawamangun office, around 132,000 recipients are scheduled, and the government continues the distribution process. It will all be finalized in December,” he added.
