DIGIVESTASI - IBM Indonesia President Director Roy Kosasih said there are differences between Indonesia and Singapore. The country has become a developed country with a small population and the highest per capita income in Asean.
Therefore, there are differences in funding allocation priorities. Indonesia has not been able to allocate too much to technology.
"The government has not done much to allocate funding in the AI field," Roy explained.
Meanwhile, Singapore also does not only provide investment in the form of money. The local government is making other efforts to encourage this technology.
One of them ensures that people have access to sophisticated chips. Singapore will also open cooperation with various large domestic companies and other countries.
